Links to Resources for Radio Repair
Following are some links to websites I frequent often either for parts, information, or resources I use to restore these wonderful pieces of antique technology. If you're looking for information or something you can't find that's not amongst these links, let me know and I'll try to find it and post it here.
I was contacted by a librarian who ran a fun radio and broadcasting history class for 10-14 year olds. They found my website and learned a few things and were able to use it for a project. One of the youngest students and his father found the following website, and suggested it would be a good addition to my links page here. Here it is! Thanks Dylan! Regards, Jeff
I was contacted by a parent who's daughter, Corinne, used info and resources from my Website here for a project, "Famous Inventors and Inventions'.
While doing research, they found another website that is a good resource, so at their suggestion, here it is.
Bonus: Did you know that Morse code and other coding is still used? If you have a shortwave radio, you can pick up several stations around the world that still use some form of coding for communication!

The teacher for Lyndhurst Stem Club for Girls, Stacey, contacted me...
"For the month of August, our club is exploring the history of innovations in science and technology with a 'famous inventors and inventions' lesson. The girls are currently learning about the history of the radio and how it impacted society. Your webpage led us to some great information on early radio to incorporate into our lessons, so the girls requested I reach out and thank you :)
As a thank you, I wanted to pass along this reading on the 'history of the car radio' my student Nicole found. Not only does it have a nice timeline of radio and audio systems throughout the years, but the additional reading on early radio and broadcasting was neat!"
So, Thank You Nicole! And here's the link:
