About Me
About me: When I was 13, my mom married my step-father, and he introduced me to big band music and old radio shows from the 1930s-1950s. It has stuck with me my whole life. Over the years, I have amassed a good size collection of music and radio shows. About 2012, I began to think it would be fun to find a period radio to listen to the music and shows through. The hunt was on. In July 2013, I bought a restored 1937 Philco Cathedral off of eBay, and the collection has grown. My main brand and era of interest is Philco from the 1930s. I had taken electronics in High School and College, so I knew how to read a schematic. With lots of help and patience, I have restored close to 20 radios back to working order. I currently live in NE Arkansas.
