Miscellaneous Pieces In My Collection
Antique Telephone Mic, Insulators, and commemorative glass bell
4-22-2017. I also repair vintage electro-mechanical pinball machines and arcade games. One of my local clients also collects antique insulators (those decorative glass and ceramic telephone and power pole pieces). Every year he hosts a trade show and BBQ. Went to it last Saturday and picked up a couple for my mom, and brought these pieces home for myself.
1940s Air Flow Fan
2-11-2017. Did a barter on this fan. $25 towards a repair bill on a pinball I worked on. I put a new cord on it and gifted this to my Niece who fell in love with it.
1930s & 1940s Electric Clocks
2-15-2017. Picked up a few Electric clocks. Will probably clean up and sell one or both of the Sessions clocks, and I'll probably keep the Hammond.
1927-28 Columbia Viva-Tonal Grafonola
1-2-2017. Worked on a pinball machine for a client, and took this in barter as partial payment for my work. Works great, but will need to be refinished.
1920s Emerson Fan
1-18-2017. Picked this up from a seller on Craigslist. It turned out the motor runs on 25Hz power, and is not compatible with today's power supply of 60Hz. I cleaned it up a little, and it will just be a display piece. I may sell or trade it sometime down the road.
